Last week I had read an article about handmade soap from newspaper. The article has mentioned about someone has researched on using coffee as an ingredient for handmade soap. Based on this idea, on last weekend, I used local black coffee as ingredient to create my own coffee soap too. I found that the black coffee colour was so attractive during the soap making process. At first I named it as “Black Soap”, but finally I changed the name to “Kopi-O Soap”. It is more into our local delight.
But, today I found that the colour is turning to dark brown. I believe the colour will keep on changing from time to time.
The ingredients as the following:
Oils: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and Palm Oil.
Others: Black Coffee Power with distilled water and became Kopi-O, Sodium Hydroxide, and Peppermint Essential Oil.
